Baking has been a big part of Simmy Jassal’s life since a very young age. She decided to do it professionally by attending George Brown College and graduating in the Baking and Pastry Arts Management Program. During this journey, she fell in love with French Pastries which made her pack her bags for France and she attended Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie, one of the top Pastry Schools in France. Once she completed her aforementioned training, she worked at many bakeries in France. This is where Pastry Chef Simmy Jassal developed her love and taste for high quality ingredients and a perfect balance of sweetness. Chef Jassal, believes that eating food isn’t just a physical satisfaction but also an emotional experience. It's about evoking emotions from your past and remembering the good foods you grew up with as a kid, and creating new experiences.
